More to do in the Soul Cairn/Grief, a house and a fishery

The Soul Cairn is a very interesting place, but apart from the three/four vanilla quests that it offers, there was no real reason to come back to it later in a playthrough.

This mod started as a challenge to participate in an Halloween modathon, with the quest Grief that led the player to accompany a man through the five stages of Grief. It was overwhelmingly appreciated, to my surprise, and it pushed me to finish the original idea I had for the Soul Cairn.

"Grief" became "More to do in the Soul Cairn", with two more quests including references from The Elder Scrolls: Battlespire with the Chapel of Love and the Ideal Masters. To this day, I believe this is my most known and downloaded mod, so thank you for that!

While I was working in another country, bored and with a portable laptop, I decided to create a small house in the Soul Cairn. With how laggy the game was on my laptop, I could not do much more than that.

That is how Soul Cairn Shack was created! It offers a tiny home in the Soul Cairn for the player, with the usual tools for survival like an oven, a cooking pit, an anvil, etc.

The Soul Cairn Fishery was created because I wanted to learn how the fishing system worked in Skyrim. However, I needed to add some fun to the process, so I decided that the Soul Cairn would be a silly place to fish in.

You can now discover the Soul Cairn Fishery on your adventure through the Soul Cairn. Fish that were brought here to torture the souls that cannot feast on them, but still feel hunger. Except that you are not a soul, you are still corporeal, so those rules don't apply to you! Enjoy fishing in the Soul Cairn!
